Born on the streets of Chicago, CHI ... KIDS began as a rebellion stitched in wheatpaste and ink.  It became a public art project celebrating transformation, identity, and the power of community.  

CHI…KIDS are bold, expressive, a little shy, and ever-changing, raised on cracked sidewalks and chain-link fences. We challenge what it means to belong, to be beautiful, to be seen.   We defy the lens of a city that’s always watching, reminding us our eyes can only catch the surface. Our real story lives within.  We are mutable, never finished — always shifting, growing, adapting, and finding connection with each other through art.
